The closest major airport is Verona Villafranca (also known as the Valerio Catullo Airport).​​ There are a couple of options to get to Malcesine from Verona Airport: private transfer via taxi, train, rent a car, or bus. Several of the hotels also offer airport transfers.

Once you arrive in Malcesine, there are taxis available but they have to be pre-booked. There are no Ubers available. We highly suggest staying in the town center (see the hotel page for suggestions) so that everything is walkable. Malcesine has a shuttle that leaves every hour from the center of town starting at 8:30am and is $1.50 euros that takes you up and down the lakeside towns for easy access.
